Front axle info needed

I need to change out my rotors because they are severely cracked. I got everything apart OK but am having a hard time finding info about the axle in general so I can find the torque info.

Here's what I know:

Axle tag says Monaco motor Corp, I20500-006, Model f5w-1200
Brake calipers are International 4153222 calipers
Front Brake rotors are maybe 12183013, not sure though they are 15" diamrter with 10 bolts.

Here's what I need:
1. Torque for the 2 caliper pin bolts
2. Torque for the 10 bolts that hold the rotor to the hub
3. Do I use locktight on those bolts on question #2?
4. Torque procedure for the axle hub nut
5. Is the grease for the bearings simply wheel bearing gear or one with moly?
6. Confirmation on the rotors for those calipers
7. Torque for the etorx bolts holding the caliper retaining ring

Thanks!

5. do not use moly, any high temp grease is suitable for wheel bearings. Usually a red one, lucas red, citgo red etc.

4. look up the procedure for the wheel bearing make and model or size. THIS IS CRITICAL. It's not a torque value, but does involve torquing, then BACKING OFF, and resetting so there is some play.

Thanks but I can't look up the procedure because I can't find any info on the axle. Yes I know it's critical. I also know a rule of thumb method that likely will work OK but I will only use that if I cannot find the proper axle spec info.

I think it's am Eaton axle, but I cannot find info on this axle. I did find a Dana spec doc that lists what looks to be identical design and found torque info for the spindle nut there, so I'll use that. The page is here: https://www.dana.com/globalassets/re...ice-manual.pdf

Now to figure the rotor and bolts out.

Both my front and rear axles are Eaton, I was able to find manuals on them that list the torque and other maintenance info.

I was able to find the rotors finally. They 15" 10-bolt 4.43" tall, part number 60454255 for a 2004 Ford F650 matches up. Still haven't found info on bolts but I'll look up the ford specs and use those since they use same calipers and rotors.

Timken is the most common bearing maker, they publish directions also. The name is on the bearing.

Intersting, that's the first time I've seen a "don't mix oil and grease lubricants" warning.

If you can't find the specific specs, look up the standard torque chart. It will list the bolt type and size and the torque for it. Unless it is a very specific application the standard torque will apply. This gives a lot of other info also.

105 ft lbs Rotor to hub bolts + recommended blue locktite

Well after getting that all fixed and back together we set of on our next trip. Brakes worked SO MUCH BETTER... Until one started dragging, we were maybe 30miles from home. This was our first ever on the road problem. We stopped at a gas station and filled up while we thought and researched.

It was 4pm Friday. After some research, decided my first thing to try was replacing caliper because I had noticed the outer seal was bad but wasn't initially concerned as it wasn't leaking.

I did more research trying to find a caliper and the wife called a local shop or two... I struck out finding any options, but the wife got sold off a really nice guy who found the party at a NAPA 7 min away. We rolled in and I took off the tire and replaced the caliper and Bled the brakes in their parking lot.

Huge thanks to both Napa for having the part and Matthew at PDI RV for helping us find a compatible part fast!

They cross referenced part number #9717009d whick rock auto has, and had stock of part # 3190xd. Far cheaper at rock auto, but if you need it right away, it's definitely worth the extra money!

Also I HIGHLY recommend having a TPMS with temperature monitoring. That's how we knew there was an issue, the air temp was going sky high and pressure kept increasing and the monitor was beeping at us. Without that all I would have known is there was a slight pulling in the steering and would have not thought much of it.
