Front door swing arm Hinge is worn out

I need Help. I have a 2004 Holiday Rambler Endeavor and the front entry door swing arm Hinge is worn Out and the door is dragging, and it can't be adjusted to open easily. What can I do to solve this problem and where can I buy a new swing arm hinge assembly?
Thx.
Phil

Swing arm assembly

The is on top of the entry door and attaches to the frame of the door entry and it also attaches to the top of the door, to keep it from swing open when, You have wind or if You just want to open the door. This arm keeps the door open.
I hope this will help. It looks like two pieces of flat metal and it has a rivet in the middle and when the door is closed, it is above the door in the frame, and it now is toast.
I hope this will help.
Thx.
Phil

Posted by Lowflyer1 in another similar thread.

Yeah, I ended up getting these from Amazon:
RV Designer G24, Gas Prop Door Support, 20 inch, 15 lb. Load Capacity, Exterior$17.06
JR Products BR-12552 10mm Angled Gas Spring Mounting Bracket $10.18
JR Products BR-12553 10mm Angled Gas Spring Mounting Bracket $13.82
Amazon pic shows the brackets unpainted but they were already black.

The screws I got from local hw store.
I just coated the screws in black rust-oleum or something like that.

Again these where posted by Lowflyer1.
I used these parts and they work great on my Windsor door.

Here are some files that might help.

Changed ours out years ago. We fulltime and the piston lasts a year or two so if you are a heavy user you might consider keeping a spare. Simple to change.

This is one of the best mods we have done to the RV.

I got the idea from the forum here. Below is my video of installing the gas strut. It has been more than 6 month now since I installed, it had worked flawlessly so far.

Feel free to like and subscribe my video. I got more of mod videos coming.
I also fully upgraded my electrical system with 2x3k victron inverter and large lithium battery. Let me know if any one want to see.

Carefully mark the exact location of your existing hinge on both the door and frame.

When I did mine I found it had been replaced before and there were multiple screw holes. Making it harder to locate correctly. It still isn't right because of manufacturing discrepancy. Screw plate or length I still don't know.

Be careful removing the screws to avoid having to find matches.... They are Squire drive screws.

Best luck on your project!

Glenn
