Front passenger window slide lock broken

On our 04 Monaco LaPalma, the front passenger sliding window has a latch lever that has broken the lip off of it so the window longer latches. Everything else works fine but if we want to lock up the rig, that window will still open from the outside. Can anybody give me a hint on where I might find that lever? It's riveted onto the window frame but it could be replaced fairly easily if I can find a lever. Thanks for any help.

You may consider leaving it so you can get in when the door latch breaks.

Mine is unlocked for that exact reason.

I need the same latch for another window by the kitchen window that is broken. Only way to fix it is drill out the rivet.

I use a piece of wood in the window frame to keep it closed while driving.

So I'd be interested in finding a replacement latch too.

This guy (Jack) is making window latches out of aluminum. They are much stronger than the OEM plastic. He makes single and dual pane and you have your choice of red or black. The only problem with these if after you see one you will want them on all your windows.

I never thought of that. Maybe that's why it's broken.

I see what you mean. That's exactly what I was looking for. Thanks. If I had not found this link, I was going to try to fab something on my own. Now I can drink beer and watch Nascar. Thanks again.
