My rant for a moment...So I decided to change out my front Shocks. Bought a set of Bilstein P/N 24-186582 shocks from Rock Auto. A couple of weeks ago. We Finally have decent weather and started the project. Lower bolts...no problem...upper bolts...well you have to be kidding me. No way to ever get a socket on the nut which is located inside the frame rail darn near touching the upper lip of the frame(RR4R Chassis). The engineers could have positioned it 1/8" lower and you would have been able to get a socket on the nut...I had to position a steel wedge between the nut and the frame to hold the nut from spinning. Started off with a small pry bar wedged between them and then used the steel wedge which was easier to hold the nut tight fom spinning.. rant over
. Hopefully the new shocks will reduce the porpouising a little...Now for the test drive...
