It's been a while since my original post because I wanted to see how it was doing. After a few trips, the front slide has not given me any problems.
My only remedy was to buy an aerosol can of Slide Out Dry Lube and spray the grooved teeth underneath while the slide was extended.
The slide sounds a little better while traveling in and out, and has fully retracted each time since.
Thanks to all who responded.

I had a problem with one of my front slides retracting.... It ended up that the 4 bolts on the electric motor mount were loose. Once I tightened them up the slide retracted I have had no more problems.

How do I access that motor on the front slides?

Should be able to access them in the cargo bays. Look up in the ceiling of the bay.

Ditto: Open your bay doors and look toward the top. Check the long shafts at each end. Mine were loose too.
