fuel cap for dynasty

while filling up the other day I managed to leave my fuel cap at the truck stop. I am looking for a new fuel cap for a 2004 dynasty and cannot seem to find a place to purchase one. If anyone has any recommendations please let me know where I can purchase one.

Thanks,

I ordered a pair of locking ones from VelVac, back in '08 when the fuel prices went sky high and I was leaving a coach with 160 gallons of diesel sitting in a storage unit.

But I would also suspect you could find one at any truck stop shop, or even at a NAPA store.

I left a gas cap, too

One of the things that I appreciate most about this forum is the feeling of not being alone.
I did the exact same thing - left a gas cap from our Dynasty on the pump in Tucson, AZ. As a bona-fide type 'A' person, I was so so embarassed.
I have to second the post by Jeff753. I ordered a replacement from Ryder, and it is a perfect fit, and was the best price that I could find after some lengthy 'shopping'.
Good Luck!

Look like that gas cap is out of stock due to a great demand and it also states it has been discontinued. Just an FYI.

Gas Cap still available?

I just checked, and it still shows available at Ryder. Not sure what is going on?

After absent mindedly losing a few fuel caps I bought two new ones at Carquest and drilled a hole through the ridge on top of them. Then I ran a cord through the hole and attached the cord around the fuel receptacle. No more forgotten fuel caps.

So now I have two and have had for some time now.

Happy to report that I received the new fuel caps and the fit was perfect, they even have a lanyard to attach to fuel door so i will not lose them again.

That's a very standard diesel fuel cap that most any Napa or truck parts store should have. I haven't lost mine but that's the one mine takes also.
