Question Gas Mileage for 1997 40' monaco dynasty

Hi, What kind of gas mileage will I get from a cummins diesel?

40' monaco dynasty cummnins mtr with 61000 miles on it..7.5kw onan upgraded side by side fridge satilite upgraded countertops and cabinets really a nice coach for a 97 model loan value at bank is 60,000. Price is 39500.00

Using gas in a diesel MH wouldn't be a good idea for great mileage. deSanford

Maybe average 7. You may get a little more or less but 7 seems a safe estimate.

I get 7 to 9 with my 1995 depending on speed and terrain.

One thing about that motor is that it does not have an EGR system which will help on MPG. Which Cummins motor is in it? At 61k miles it has just finished breaking in and ready to travel. Check the DOT date on those tires and make sure they are no older than six years. If you don't know how to read them then we can tell you how.

Just a few years older than mine. With ~14k documented miles my average including heat from AH and generator use I have 8.3mpg. I have an ISC8.3 CAPS. Actual driving MPH is closer to 9 mpg. Enjoy!
