Bob,

Thanks for the info and pics. Does your whole bed lift? Mounting the 2 additional struts on the outside overhange saves space.Are they visible when the bed is lowered? (DW astetics).

Jim,

The whole bed lifts the same as original. We do not notice the outside struts when the slide is closed because one is blinded by the bed and the other is hidden by the bed spread. To see either strut when the slide is open you have to get down on all four and look back under the bed.
