I think it's almost one of those "if your gauges are not in the common (but wrong) positions" then you have something to worry about. Seems everyone has the same/similar readings, even tho they may have no relation to actual/correct readings. Why is this?? Can't something be done to make 'em read correctly??

DaveoOo - Wish I had a good answer for ya, but I don't. I've heard many folks (me included) have a similar experience if/when the rear wire-harness gets wet and shorts-out the non-existent (for us, anyways) tag-axle wirings, but you said you've got that one ruled-out. However, I don't like hearing that the ATC/ABS lite seems to respond to the alternator output, that may be your first clue. Is it just the lite or the entire ATC/ABS function? May have to be a dealer/mfgr answer, I'm afraid. Sorry.

Sixpack98,

Do you have the Ram Mount part number for the monitor mount? In looking at Ram Mount's website, it would take a very long time to search through the thousands of mounts they offer.

Thanks!

Jeff

We just had our Water Temp. and Battery Voltage guages replaced at Massey's Diesel due to moisture in them. We didn't even know that they were bad until Tom Kzcepka pointed them out to us when we got there. He said that Monoco got a bad batch of them and have been taking care of it. It was cold and foggy when we got there very early in the morning and it was dark! I couldn't see the guages until it was lighter outside and Tom was checking our engine mileage for some other problem that we were having. Sure enough the lenses were fogged up on the inside.
Just thought that I'd pass this along if any of you are having this problem. It IS a warrenty thing.
Cheers

Well, we got the RV to Leo's to look at the ATC & ABS lites, naturally they fixed themselves overnight and refused to even flicker. The service techs called Monaco, fiddled with the connections, and pronounced it not failing.

The Echo-Charge is now installed, so my fingers are crossed that this will never happen again.

(Wait, was that a flicker on the dash...?)

Jeff,
Sorry, missed your question post. The Ram parts were ordered from www.expressmounts.com and the parts were:

RAM-B-207U-C 5.25" Socket arm
RAM-B-238U Diamond Plate

The monitor had 1/4 X 20 threads and could have used a 1/4 X20 male camera thread but my monitor had a pretty weak 1/4 X 20 female so I used the diamond plate and threaded the hole in the base. The Ram number for the camera mount is RAM-B-237U
