GCVWR and tow capacity
HELP!!!
I know the standard answer I will get, "Check the data sticker beside driver left leg". Trust me, the needed info is NOT on there.
We have a 1994 Monaco Dynasty, 40' with the 8.3 Cummins. All the data tag says about any weight is GVWR of 29,000, and a front and rear axle weight. It says NOTHING about GCVWR or Tow Capacity.
Does anyone here know what they might be for this coach? I towed 10k cross country without problem, would like to tow 13 - which requires a hitch upgrade. I can do that, but SOOOOOO many other variables come into play. Brakes and frame to be the first of many.
I would really appreciate specific and truly knowledgeable info on this, not guessing games. I'm not in this to hurt or harm anyone in the real world.
Thank you!

There may be a legal button to push without a sticker but when there are stickers the total is the vehicle + the max tow rating for the hitch. I am assuming you have a sticker or manufactures information to tell you what the tow limits are. Typically most larger rigs are rated to 10,000 lbs.
Many rigs have addition stickers inside cabinet doors, take a look around.

Was you coach built on the Spartan chassis ( I believe so). There should be a data plate on the chassis/frame like this:

Monaco began manufacturing the Roadmaster chassis in the mid 1980's. Most of the early coaches had a max trailer weight of 5000# with some built for 10,000#.
Monaco did not start building coaches with a 15,000# trailer capacity until 2008-9.
I've towed a 10,000# trailer with an early C8.3L mechanical Cummins engine and a 6 speed Alllison MD3060 transmission. I disagree. It was difficult trying to climb any form of a hill and mountain passes were very painful. I had to constantly watch the temperature gauge and pull over to allow the system to cool down.
