Butch, I am wondering about the cable from the chassis into the Onan "box". You say your rear switch won't shut it down, either. Is that one of the Carling rocker switches, or is it on one of your Intellitec switch panels?
On our coach, I'm guessing that there is a conductor that runs from the Intellitec cabinet to somewhere in the very front of the coach for both start and stop on the generator. I'm guessing that there are also at least a couple of conductors from the dash switch to the generator as well. If both switch sources are failing to operate, I would expect the problem to be between where those two pairs of wires come together and where that wire that goes on arrives at the generator. I would also expect that combining connection to be at the coach end of that generator umbilical.
I have no idea where those two pairs of wires "mate up", but I'm guessing your issue might likely be at that point, or at the plug where the umbilical plugs into the generator unit.
Ok, I just found the drawing that shows those connections, and I was actually right, for a change. I've attached it. It turns out the front switch, the Intellitec rear switch and the AGS all three combine to a singe "stop" wire to the gen set. Unfortunately it doesn't say where those connections are physically located, but at least it shows you what to look for.
Good luck!!
