generator Cummins onan 5.5 trouble
hello
I have commins Onan RV QG5500. It has trouble running. Runs for little bit and then shuts off. I have new fuel filter has good spark and NOW won't stay running.
Just 1 hr ego ran for few minutes so i shut it off and stared. I did this few times and i thought it was ok but now gain Starts but shuts off and light on the switch blinks 3 times . Any ideas.

Google Onan Generator Trouble Codes. Download pdf. A 3 blink indicates a service level fault. Follow instructions for needed 2nd level code.

It should have two numbers. Possibly a 36 code. My 36 code was rectified by a new fuel pump.

I have 3 blinks then i press again and i have 1 pause then blinks 4 times
i'm assuming this means code 14 right

We were camping this weekend and my converter broke down all house batteries died. I won't charge my house batteries so i used a car charger to do it so i can close slides and jack.
is it possible that converter is bad this would cause the Gen. not run right and showing code 34?

I was just reading that but where is the inverter for the generator. I'M new to all this this motor home is confusing me between inverter and converter.
