Getting too much email from everywhere !

Someone must have sold my email address to the world as I started getting random stuff from all over...

Easy to delete, but they come back so since I use Outlook

1) I right click on the random email and

2) select Create Rule
3) Select Deleted Folder
4) Select ok and no more emails from that sender in my Inbox

Not Monaco related, but figured it might help others... enjoy (but for sure don't block emails from IRV2 )

Some use a different address each mailing so harder to block. Sometimes you have to block the whole "From" after the ampersand (@ symbol).

With us its phone calls and snail mail .

They all want donations .

The wife has donated to things and I think that got it all started .

Apparently they sell the list to everyone .

They make the phone look like it may be a neighbor in hopes I'll pick up .

Phone deal has long been taken care of for the most part...

about 95% of the robocalls are stopped so it only rings once - so we only answer after two rings

Just posting the above for those that use Outlook...

We run a private mail server for my wife, hosted on a friend's servers. He doesn't run any email spam software since it is just a favour, and we need to keep her domain since she uses it for her very small business.

To solve the spam problem I just forwarded all her email to an Apple iCloud mailbox, then connect her mail client to iCloud. You can do this with Outlook (she uses Apple's mail client), and iCloud will scrub almost all of the annoying spam. You can also do it with gmail.

Once a year I log into the original mail server and delete everything since I can't "forward and delete".

If you do this and want to keep the original email as your "reply to" mail service you set this up in Outlook - you send through the original email but only poll the new one for the inbox.

I use Thunderbird for my e-mail, Its junk algorithm is fairly good. I get 300 emails a day, 200 are junk.

I had a similar problem. I started getting "subscribed" newsletters from all over the world. I started out deleting them and blocking them. After a time, I just opened and unsubscribed.

I'm now fluent in Spanish, French and Norwegian.
