Good Sam Extended warranty

I just recently purchased a MH from CW and in the process also purchased an extended warranty I didn't read the small print until now and in the contract it says that the MAX they will pay out for the life of the contract (4 years) is $25,000. Although I don't expect any problems who knows this is a CAT 9 DP and if the engine "blows " up or ? that alone will blow the $25,000. Are all policies written this way if not do you rec I look elsewhere?

Jim

It wouldn't be too hard to burn up $25k if you're not a DIY'er and take your coach to the shop for every problem you have. I'm just talking house stuff and not even chassis. A good DP platform will be your least problem even with minimal maintenance.

Consider what you'll pay in premiums during those 48 months as well as deductibles. My neighbor has GS and hates 'em. He's constantly fighting with them over something.

Not to mention GS Warranties do not cover consequential damages. That was the deal breaker for me when I shopped for an ESP.

Correct. The neighbor I mentioned had an ice maker line crack and leak. It took out the floor under the fridge, the floor under the fresh water tank, shorted the inverter ($650 repair), and more. GS paid to fix the fridge, that's it!
