Finally, after almost a year of ownership and more than one trip to the dealer to have those "little problems" fixed. We went out for an extended weekend outing with friends with everything fixed and as it should be. The MoHo performed flawlessly and was a pleasure to drive and use.
We went to Calico Days in Yermo, CA at Calico Ghost Town. Not very far from home, only 100 miles. Never the less the trip was a great one spent with friends, old and new.
We are back home now, and the MH is resting comfortabley in the backyard sleeping, waiting for the next outing.

That's great to hear about the success of your first real trip. We haven't been out to Calico in 20 years, first time was in 1963. At that time it was more ghost town than anything else and you could rummage the hillsides for relics of years gone by. The last time (20 years ago) it was beginning to turn more amusement park than a historical picture of early California. At that time, I didn't think they had any campsites nearby either. I guess things do change, 20 years ago we also had a 20 foot prowler pulled by a suburban, now. . . .

There is a KOA at the Ghost Town Rd exit and Calico itself has a CG. It was a bit amusement parkish, but the DW and I have never been there and every time we past it said "We need to go there someday"...So we did!

Sacs & I stayed there one night on our way home...when we could not find an RV park that had any vacancies on our way through Vegas...
