We have booked a week in April at Doc's. We have not stayed there before but it looks like it should be good and reasonably priced.

Depends on allot of things. Like how long are you staying? Check out Grand Isle. It's a Passport America park.

Anywhere from Gulf State Park to Anchors Aweigh to Lake Osprey (does Groupon deals @ $22.50/night for two nights). You have a Lot of choices, and you might be better answered by giving information about type of vehicle/age and condition/length of stay, etc.

Happy travels.

We have stayed at Luxury RV Resort and enjoyed it. Walking distance to restaurants. If I recall a Walmart is a very short drive. We would stay there again if we went back. Good luck!

We just returned from Anchors Aweigh. Nice park and reasonably priced. It's close to the strip so there is lots of choices for dining, etc. It's a few miles from the beach if that's your thing.

For those RV parks that might advertise, "...walking distance to the beach.", use a mapping Directions from that RV park to (The Hangout restaurant in Gulf Shores) This place is right on the beach and you'll know the exact distance. The area is flat, so your bicycles will come in handy.

We are at Gulf State Park, Gulf Shores,Al. Wonderful park, with weekly and monthly rates in the winter. Chances of getting monthly now are very limited, but some sites are saved for up to two week stays. Many lovely bike or hiking trails.
