Hazard flasher not working

Hello
I have a 2005 Safari Simba. The turn signals work fine. The hazard flasher doesn’t work. I’ve replaced the flasher unit under the dash, checked fuses under the dash and under the hood. Still not working. Anybody else been here before?

There's usually two flasher Owners have had a hard time finding second EM flasher on MHs . They can be up under dash tied to wire loom. Do the lamps light at all but just not flash?? Flasher could fail either way but usually fail closed. Have you replaced all lamps with LEDs. before it showed up.

There are 2 separate flashers.. or relays.. one on fuse box.. the hazard relay is buried.. hope you like hunting.. use you cellphone with flash on and record.. mine was buried in wiring harness that runs down steering column.. at the base.. all black.. so very hard to find.. now this was on my rv.. 2000 Chevy p32.. if yours is ford.. well hopefully someone will chime in..
Good luck and keep us posted

On our Safari P30 the wires leading to the flasher were orange and either black or brown, IIRC. The hazard flasher was attached to a spring clip holder in a really ugly place to get to near the bottom of the steering column. I located ours by following the orange wire to the flasher.

Team Mac-

Is your Simba built on a Ford or a Workhorse chassis?

I’ve replaced the flasher unit for the flasher. When I turn the hazards on nothing happens on the dash or lights. The turn signal flasher is near the same place. It’s working.

Team Mac-

My read of the 2005 W22 wiring diagrams (link here) says that if fuse 29 (STOP HAZ/FAN RLY) is intact you should be able to read 12V at the flasher relay input. If you can read 12V there, and the relay is working correctly, then I conclude the mutlifunction switch (turn signals, etc.) is broken or the wiring between the relay and the switch is broken.

I provided the link above from the Workhorse Technical Information Web page. The link is here:
