Headlights

I have a 2008 Monaco Dynasty and I have got to replace a bulb that's out. I am wondering if anyone out there has replaced their factory bulbs with better ones that will reach out farther and or brighter.

Ever since this coach was new, the headlights have not been all that great.

Thanks. I appreciate your input.

becker......there are some better bulbs. Your biggest issue though is probably low voltage. Here is what I did. I went a LOT farther than most with my upgrade, but you substantially upgrade your lights with just doing some of what I did. http://www.irv2.com/forums/f115/head...de-126394.html

Don't have that problem, my problem is the headlights came on while I was gone and they want go off, turned off the chassis and coach battery and they didn't go off till I switched off the shorepower. So I just disconnected the headlights till I get a chance to look at it which may be a while since the differential took a hike after leaving RV park. Oh its a 05 Monaco Exec with Detroit 60

Low voltage is a real problem with lots of RV's. I replaced the bulbs with brighter ones many years ago but didn't do the wiring upgrade. Maybe someday I will

Sounds like the daytime running light relay is stuck on or being given power when it shouldn't be. What I can't figure out is how the shore cord would come into the scenario.

Always a new problem in the wonderful world of RV's.

Oh that just the tip of the iceberg. A buddy loaned me his 1 ton to pull my trailer home and I had a flat on the trailer so the wife and I had it changed in 14 minutes;. Got home and got my 1 ton to go get the friends trailer but the battery was dead because when I parked it last time in my warehouse I left the dang headlights on. Then my buddy and I took his truck to get his trailer and we were taking a short cut through a small town when we saw a black cat and made a turn to avoid that **** and when I was headed home in my 85 El Camino I got pulled over for doing 79 in a 60 which I was doing 65 when getting passed by a mercedes after a half hour of arguing that he didn't laser me he asked if he knew me and I said probably so because I use to be a Harley dealer and we worked on the cities HD fleet back then so he said sign it and he would void it so we talked on him convinced that he was right and me convinced that I was right until he said he was half a mind to give me the ticket anyway it was about to get ugly so we parted with a handshake. Forgot to mention he had been an officer for 30 years and knew when someone was speeding and that he had a El Camino in highschool and how my speedo was wrong and how I knew if I was going dang near 80 that my hair would have been on fire and how he knew I just did know where the needle was and how I knew where the needle was and if it had said 80 it would have been pegged out since my speedo only goes to 85 and that he knew my speedo was no good and how I knew it was good because I check all of my vehicles when I go through theconstruction zones that throw up you speeed and how I had been through 2 in the last week one at 25 and it showed 24 and one at 55 and it showed 54. But atleast the Mercedes must have got a good laugh out of it when he pulled me over. At 60 years of age I just don't need the hassel from the MAN. LOL or much of anything else.
