LMAO !!

Maybe that was their job security plan! "You can't shut this plant down! Nobody will ever be able to repair anything"!!

On our 2005 Signature, the green wire output from the DRL module (marked ICE DD1-D Made in Canada) to turn on the headlights is wired to the same green wire as the output of the SmartWheel Controller to the low beams. This is shown on plug M47 connector 7. The output from the SmartWheel to the low beams is on plug M47 connector 3.

When I activate the headlight flash on the left side of the steering wheel in the daytime, the headlights don't flash. The SmartWheel Controller thinks they are off and tries to put them on, but the headlights are already on from the DRL module. They do change in intensity a little, but not enough for a passing driver to be able to see clearly. The change is from the SmartWheel also driving the low beam circuit.

It seems that the output from the DRL module to put the headlights on should be sent to the headlight input of the SmartWheel controller. Then the headlight flash should work as expected.

The low beams really need a relay as the current passes through the SmartWheel controller.

I also noticed that if I was driving at night with the high beams on, and operate the wipers on, the low beams come on as well.

Ron, print your own decal from the Dropbox files

Go to the Monaco Dropbox file
Monaco Files
Factory Wiring PDF's
08 & 09 Camelot, Scepter Ft Run Bay Decal (2nd file down)

I’m pretty sure this is also the same for the Beaver Contessa's of same years.

This decal is incomplete and will leave you scratching your head.
But, the fuse charts I made will address 99% of the circuits on the 08 & 09 Camelot, Sceptor and Contessa. Due to the snowflake issue, there will be a few variations.
