Heads up! Something new I never thought we would have to watch out for!!!

Was extending the full wall slide to load up some stuff for our trip and it 'sounded' different just before it got all the way out...

As usual,
I watch the top of the slides to make sure the dance it does while going in and out doesn't strike the roof trim (again!)
and saw something pop up above the slide trim...
so pulled it back in and had to stand on the drivers seat to see down the slide top and saw 'something' about half way back...
pulled the dinette chair over and squeezed my hand in the slot and found one of the twist on light lens on top of the slide

a couple of inches more going out and we could have had a mess - crushed glass where I couldn't get to it, probably slide seal damage !!! glad I didn't find out what would have happened

Whew, just a heads up for all !

Caught our nite cabinet forward sliding top drawer a couple of times...bent metal drawer guides but straightened. Doesn't slide out so easy on quick stops with slightly bent guides now. Now I faithfully check front and back of slide before extending (have to crawl on the bed with flashlight in hand) and retracting and cycle the drawer shut before retracting.. now it's just wife's goodies that fall off the cabinet top while driving (Kleenex box, hairbrush, etc.).

Was told a salesman caught the driver's seat while unit was waiting for purchase on the Dealer's lot.
