Heat Pump Experience - It's good

The OP’s heat pumps do not have heat strips. I still run mine (04 Dynasty) when the temps get below 35 with plenty of heat output.

Not that it applies to RVs, but new home heat pumps can operate down to 0F and still 2X more efficient than heat strips.

Another thought, I do not think heat pumps are capable of putting out 106 degree air, that sounds like more of a furnace/AH temp.

Tested mine this morning. IR gun on vent. Outside temp 50f. Aqua-hot [on diesel] 122f. Heat Pumps [ducted system, so average on 4 different vents] 114f. From past experience, heat strip AC's would have been less that 100F. All test done when inside temps under 60f.

That's what I get from my kitchen heat exchangers (closest to the AH unit).

Haven't tested the others, but would guess they would run a little cooler due to the longer distances.

That's from my kitchen and living room heat exchangers, did not measure dash one, but it does seem cooler because of the extra 10 ft. It is rubber hose and am sure some heat is lost on the trip fwd.
