HELP!!! 08 Holiday Rambler Arista

Hello y’all! We are brand new to the RV world. We bought a 2008 Holiday Rambler Arista 330 on Labor Day. It’s a 34’ with the 8.1 Vortec on a workhorse chasis. Only 15k miles. Lots of upgrades.

It’s in great shape and we feel we got a really good deal on it. However I have discovered a few problems and am simply lost. I was installing a new wireless back up camera system and discovered that the cigarette lighter/power port does not work. I have looked everywhere and can’t find that fuse box! I found the one in the bedroom, and the one under the hood, but not the one that controls the dash panel……. Online searches have been futile also…

Any ideas?

Thanks in advance!

Spicydad-

In the front-most exterior storage compartment on the driver's side, is there a black plastic box? And, inside that box, is there a circuit board with relays and fuses? If so, please take a (sharp) picture of that circuit board and post it here.

Thanks for responding Mark!

The first basement bay on the drivers side is the generator compartment. Do black box in there. I had read when trying to find this thing that it may be outside near the drivers seat in a panel. No panel there.

Any other ideas? I have looked in every compartment, cabinet and closet.

Thanks!

Spicydad-

I found a picture of the under-hood area on a 2009 Arista 330. The picture is below. It appears that HR used a BCC (Battery Control Center), rather than the typical HR Front Distribution Panel. I'd start the search for the 12V "cigar lighter" outlet power in that BCC.

Thanks Mark! I found that one first, but that’s a different one.

I found the one that has all the dash controls about an hour ago! It was ALLLL the way under the dash, attached to the firewall in the far left corner of the drivers side footwell….. Not easy to find, and even harder to get in and out of…

And the pisaré is that the fuse looks good. Not blown….
