Help - 2007 Monaco Executive Sunshade

Greetings and Help!!,

The passenger-side sunshade would not raise when I used both driver's and passenger's two-position toggle switches. Lowering was not an issue, the only problem was that I could not raise the sunshade. I opted to replace the 12 volt reversible geared motor to determine if the problem would be solved. Well, when I now use either switch, there is no sound coming from the motor. By the way, the driver's-side sunshade is operating okay.

I called Monaco technical and they asked me to troubleshoot the 15 amp fuse in the fuse compartment in the front-left bay and it checked out okay. They surmised that it could be either the toggle switch or a wiring issue.

Any thoughts and/or recommendations? Your sage advice will be appreciated.

Try the old motor on a 12v battery. Switching the wires should reverse the motor. Then you can determine if it's the motor or the wiring/switch
