plastic coolant tank leaking Help

my coolant tank on my 1994 Dynasty 230hp cummings is leaking. It is plastic, and think it is a Volvo. I tried to get part # from Monaco but they only go back to 2000 for parts. I have had RV since new. I am on he road in Astoria Oregon. Any suggestions would be welcome. I cannot drive because all the coolant leaks out. Thanks Larry

To continue your trip, go to ace hardware and purchase a plastic epoxy repair kit. Clean the tank and use the epoxy.

If your tank is non pressurized and can't be repaired, buy a 1 gal plastic bottle and secure it to a place in your engine bay close to where the broken tank is. Put a hole in the cap, insert your small hose into the cap so it will reach the bottom of the bottle, fill with coolant and you are good to go.

Do a Google search for surge tanks and see if you can match it up .

Dorman plastics had one that was a 98% match for my Freightliner side rad coach.

I have a 96 Monaco Windsor, and did a little research, and mine is a 95 Volvo plastic surge tank off a 95 Volvo semi truck!
Yours is a 94 Dynasty, so google a 93 Volvo semi surge tank, and see what you come up with?
Also mine has been patched with what looks like a epoxy, and is holding very well, but is the reason I started looking for a replacement, just in case!
This the one that I found that fits my 96! Rail!

Guardrail's tank doesn't look too much different than that in my Freightliner.

As far as temporary fixes go, JB Weld makes a version for repairing cracks and small holes in plastic radiators and overflow tanks.

Good morning Imcintosh; I don't know if you have had any luck with the coolant tank problem since your post yesterday. I just read it now. I have part numbers if you still need them. The Monaco part number is #2129. This number is a Volvo part number and will get you lots of results on the net. Volvo part#3966106. Prices are all over the place even on Amazon. If you need the green cap the Volvo part# 6794968. Hope this info is not too late to help you find a replacement. Good luck!
