Looks like something you use to plug a wine bottle after discarding the original cork

Is it possibly a fob for the viper alarm system? To turn it off and on with. That's my only guess.

This is just too much.

I don't know if it can be called some kind of fob cause I have a regular car key fob for the system. The end looks a lot like a watch battery but no markings of a battery. It is not a magnet either. It looks like it should be turned or pulled cause it has those little wings on it. I'll let you know if I find out...

If the other side of the attached plastic tag ( that we only see the back side of in the photo) has you coach info on it from the selling dealer, and the locking red id tag , that the dealer should have cut off.
That device may be for a lock box that was mounted on the coach.
If you just got the coach , give the dealer a call. They may want it back.

+1...this could be for a anti theft starter interrupt.
Did you get any info about one of these with the coach?
Is there some kind of socket around the dash where it fits?

Dan

Moira, I have nothing like that on my Signature and nothing in the owners manual. Have you requested a build sheet for your Sig from Monaco to see if there was an option that used it?

Ok, I got a message back from the dealer, it was theirs. He didn't say what it was but I believe it has something to do with checking in and out of the coach keys. I did check the manuals also. It does have an ibutton mark on it. So it is some kind of access management device.

On the security side, I will be replacing the door actuator at Best Buy. There were also a few fuses blown and we also found a very hot tilt sensor on the d/s bay door. There are little ball bearings in there and when the door is opened, it makes. Well when they get stuck in there, they are making all the time and I think that's why it was so hot. I am getting a new fob and batteries for the sound sensors. Does anyone arm their coach while they are sleeping inside? Just wondering if it would go off if someone got up in the night.

Thank you everyone for helping.

ps, I got 3 working grab handles now. But my rear monitor does not power up. I gotta get that done, transmission fluid and satellite and then I am out ta here!

The red thing and wire that goes into it is a seal.. Designed to show if the device has been tampered with.. What the device is.. I have not clue.
