Help with bedroom slide out before new flooring goes in

WE are tearing out the carpet to put in laminate. We removed the bedframe from the bedroom slide and this is what we found. The glide roller is cutting into the underneath of the box/frame the mattress sits on. Its only on one side, is this an adjustment issue or are there some sort of glides we can cover the wood with?

You have discovered the infamous "beaver chew!"

It is a problem of design, mostly, and adjustment, somewhat. Monaco should not have used a soft wood there.

The most common fix is to apply a metal plate to cover the "chewed" area. See a picture here.

Yep, I recently countersunk screwed two thick aluminum plates to ride on those rollers.
