Here is a Great Web site to find good, fair, poor and Excellent RV mechanics!!

I was recently given this website to find a mechanic and to share experiences about RV repairs. Please be certain to provide feedback with all of your repair experiences as you travel this country. I found a great mechanic in Port Hadlock WA thanks to the following site. You must Bookmark this site!!! I just posted my feedback on this site #3425. We have to look out for each other with feedback.

Thanks for the reminder Hansville. It is indeed a very useful site. That and campgroundreviews.com are great sites to use to try to get the better experience.

Thanks for the great site hoppers4. My posting probably won't get many replies and will quickly sink down the list, just want you guys to know about excellent site where very good RV mechanics can be found. I will be hitting the road soon as a full timer and may occasionally need to find a good shop, a bit of self interest here. Have a great summer.

I looked at the site and most of the reviews seemed to be from 2004 through 2007. Given the turnover of techs at repair shops I wonder how useful the information really is?

I have used the site frequently when traveling fulltime over a 3 year period,,,,,have not been disappointed....

The reviews may be the best info available and only as good as those that participate.

And better than Nothing.

I met a RV mobile repair man last summer at a local campground and asked for his business card in case I ever needed his services. I actually need him last week and called him, he did not answer the phone and I left a message and he still to this day has not returned my call. As I searched for another mechanic, I was advised to check out the above mentioned ratings web site. As I searched the site for a good reputable mechanic I saw the site for the business card I recieved and saw he has very poor and bad ratings. I assume he is no longer in business and I am glad he never returned my call. I found a great shop using the "RV Service Review" site and I am simply sharing with the community.

I have used this site for several years and have had excellent luck. Posting each time you have your RV serviced to fix a problem keeps the reviews fresh and up to date.

I recently posted about Central FL RV service in Lakeland where they fixed a slide roof (fiberglass) problem and a problem bay leak that Monaco service tech's worked on at several rallies and never fixed. We just went through the 6.5 inch rain in Tampa while camped at Lazy Days and did not have a leak in the bay or slide. Cost was under $600 for the reglass and paint and extensive sealing of the bay under the slide. I am extremely satisified.
