Here is another battery/solar/etc.. question!

This rv has too many features for me
Between the solar panel,
the Morningstar RM-1 remote solar meter,
the Magnum ms2812 inverter/charger,
Auto generator start,
the magnum remote control,
i r confused but trying to learn!

We don't boondock and since the batteries went bad, decided to put 4 trojan t-105's 6 VOLTS in - two in parallel and two in series...

so how many amp hours do I have ?
is it 2 * amp hr of one or ???
and which amp hr is typically used from the chart below?

What settings do I need to adjust for the new batteries?
on the rm-1,
the remote meter,
the ags ?

thanks !

You have 450 AH of battery.

2, 6 volt batteries in series doubles volts, not AH.

2 series pairs, in parallel doubles AH.

Use the charging voltage settings listed in the 12 volt column.

Most use the 20 hour rate.

Use the 20 hr rate. You have 450 amp-hours of capacity. Assuming two of the same battery, connecting two in series doubles their voltage, connecting in parallel doubles their capacity.

Shouldn't need to change anything on the RM-1.

Not sure about the AGS but I would expect it to have the total battery bank capacity somewhere, that likely needs updated.

These may help. I have one more that is especially helpful but it is a bit too large. I will try to shrink it.
