Hocky puck lights

If anyone else is fed up with the hot quartz round hocky puck lights in a monaco and is not ready to spend the big bucks that the dealers seem to want for leds you might want to look on ebay

"10 each G4 Warm White 24 LED 3528 SMD Camper Spot Light Lamp Bulb"

I bought packs of 10 each for 6.00 and they are a very bright white and no heat and draw about 1/10th the power of the originals. They do not work with dimmers so be aware if you swap out some of the bulbs on dimmers that its on or off nothing in the middle....

Great for reading in the chair or couch and we can turn on only the center lights and have nice lighting for TV.

10X Warm White G4 24 SMD LED RV Camper Marine Lamp Cabinet Spot Light Car Bulb | eBay

I have used these and the warm white is almost the same as regular halogens. Super brights loook like an operating room in a horror movie...skip those. You do need to order extras because the color tone varies a little (very picky partner) They do dim, but not down as far as normal bulbs. You will have to trim a bit off the connectors, easy to do. The 22 bedroom halogen bulbs when on bright pulled 9 amps according to Aladdin, the LEDS pull about 1-2. I have bought led strip lights from this seller also. Reasonable prices, shipping from Hong Kong is as advertised on his site, but I have always received mine on the shorter time period. Happy enough that I have placed follow up orders.
Look around the guy's site sometimes he sells for less in different number of bulb packs.

These go into the halogen light fixtures in the newer Navistar RV MHs? Did I read this as about $15.00 for each light? deSanford PS the lowest price I found was about $2.00 each. I will keep my eye out for these LED replacements. Shipping was $12.00 ........not a deal.

Maybe my math is off, but the link Twomed provided the lights are $14.88 for 10, which is $1.48 a piece, free shipping.

10X is ten LED lights that you see pictured there. I have bought over a hundred from him...did several coaches, several different purchase, ZERO problems. He responds quickly to questions if you have one...kind of broken English, but understandable for sure.

Just ordering LED strips to replace some rope lighting that has burned out. The biggest advantage to the LEDS is losing all the heat that the halogens generate, as well as making the solar more effective when boondocking a little.

If I wasn't happy with the purchases, believe me I would never post the link here.

Working on flourescents change...but it's Gator football season. and I'm replacing exhaust manifold leaky gasket, and a friends TV, and ..... flours are just not at the top of the list.

Thoughts are to cut and splice an led strip, warm white, hot glue the strips into the fixture. We'll see.
