Holes in the floor
I picked up a few cockroaches having it parked recently, so I thought I would explore where they are coming in from. I removed the luvered door/vent below the Ref and found that Monaco assy crew had cut two big holes here one for the drain and the other for water pipes. The holes were wide open. I had the vent fans on, and felt a strong breeze entering from these holes. I stuffed them with steel wool and duck tape.
If you havn't looked under the Ref yet, I suggest you do this. This is an open highway for pests. BTW, I have a 2006 Ambassador. s/Toby

Get a can of expandable foam and fill the holes.
When I replaced my carpet, the holes for wiring to the power seats was open also.

Check In the bathroom under the shower stall. The two 1 1/2 inch vent pipes and gray drain to the tanks below the floor passed through large square holes, I had to drill access holes in the lower cabinet to seal the gaps with Dow Foam . Note: protect everything you don't want the foam to stick to!!!!

Thanks, guys. I've got holes somewhere - probably in multiple locations. Those are three good places to look for holes. Another is where the steering column goes through the floor.
Every autumn, we get mice who come in, make themselves at home in our coach, and raise families. I've tried those electronic repellers, which don't work at all. I've tried placing fabric softener sheets in all the places they seem to go and also rodent poison in strategic places. Those work better than the repellers, but still they come in. This year, in addition, I'm setting traps to try and catch 'em before they have a chance to build nests and multiply. Just last weekend we were watching TV in the coach in the evening and saw a mouse scamper across the floor.
The only real solution, I think, is to invest the time to find every hole and plug it.

My neighbors cat works better than the traps but I like the sticky traps with a little peanut butter daubed on it, they cant resist it.
