From around 2000, they’re badge engineered. Decor, some trim and logos were the only differences.

My 2004 Monaco La Palma has a HR decal on it.

It's been a great coach since I bought it new in 2004.

3 years into owning a 2002 HR Endeavor 40. I am impressed with the engineering. Aluminium roof, really strong slide outs and general lay out of components. As with any design where a lot of comfort is placed in a small space, the ability to think through a project is a necessity as short cuts generally = more effort then just doing it right. Very pleased so far.

WE have a 2009 Holiday Rambler Vacationer and has bee a very good coach to us. A few problems but that is to be expected when you have a home and bus rolled into one. Is it Tiffin or Country coach or blue bird? No but I would buy another in a heart beat.

My 04 Navigator has Monoco ID tags on in places and is basically one of the same company.

I wouldn't trade my 2004 for 1 2014 heads up.

Happy Trails!

As I posted before...they are twins. Ie Monaco Diplomat IS a Holiday Rambler Endeavor. Same body, same RR8R Roadmaster chassis etc. They are the same.

Essentially a 2002 HR Imperial would have been close to the Monaco Executive. Both were second from the top of their respective lines at the time. I say close because the sister models between HR and Monaco were not exactly equal and could have different options. For example in 2002 the Signature had a 12.5kw gen, while the sister HR Navigator had a 10kw.

These are all high end coaches on the Roadmaster S-series chassis, and if well cared for are awesome coaches.

Checking the models closer, I’ll make a revision to my post above (not able to edit it anymore). Although the 2002 HR Imperial was second from the top in the HR line up, in those years it came with a Cummins ISL and was only available with a single rear axle up to 40 ft. The 2002 Monaco Executive was only available with a tag axle and the bigger Cummins ISM.

So looking closer I would say the 2002 HR Imperial is actually closer to the 2002 Monaco Dynasty.

Again it can be difficult sometimes to compare the two model line ups directly. But all these were high end coaches of the era, and make great value coaches today.

I wasn’t able to find a 2002 HR Imperial brochure, but here is the 2001 brochure. Should be close enough.

My wiring diagrams for my 2002 Windsor also say Imperial, but I believe that in some years it was close to a Dynasty.

Someone sent me this and I think it is reasonably accurate.

The Monaco diesel model lineup from top to bottom:

Signature
Executive
Dynasty
Windsor
Camelot
Diplomat
Knight
Cayman
LaPalma (both gas and diesel)

Monaco = HR
Executive = Imperial
Dynasty = Navigator
Camelot = Scepter
Diplomat = Endeavor
