Holiday Rambler Endeavor
I have a 1994 Endeavor DP. She is in great shape but is in need of a tie rod end boot. Tie rod shaft is 7/8” and I cant seemto locate one. I have been to NAPA, as well as my local RV Dealers without any success,....too old they say. Do any of you folks have any ideas as to where I could find parts for older RVs?
Any tips are appreciated.
Thank you

I'd head for a Truck parts store. If you can carry the bad part with you, or the tie rod itself, a desk jockey might be able to match it up by sight. These are the people that keep truckers on the road and if your rig is on a truck chassis, they may be able to help.
One thing I found with the major components of my '94 Fleetwood with Freightliner chassis was that the big chassis parts often had an embossed number on the part. Don't recall seeing that on rubber parts though.

Thank you for the reply. I will look one up locally and see if they service Osh-Kosh chassis on Monday.
Thanks again.

Hi Tryinlinux; I agree with Jim, heavy duty truck shops know more than regular RV repair shops. I know you are on the east coast an I the west, but there is a place in Grants Pass Oregon that specializes in RV steering and suspension. There are well known for their work. I would give them a call on Monday. The name is, Henderson's Line Up. The parts department number is 541-955-0169. You might check out their web site. These people should have an answer for you. Good luck!
