Holiday Rambler Imperial Side Molding/Trim replacement

The molding/trim on the basement doors on the exterior of my 95 Imperial has badly deteriorated and some have come off, were lost and need to be replaced. It's about 2 ½ inch wide, made of a flexible rubber like material with a chrome like strip in the middle. It's glued on to the exterior fiberglass with trim adhesive.

I would like to replace it with an attractive somewhat flexible material that can be glued on that's at least as wide as the existing strips. Or if I could find some of the existing material that is in new condition(which I haven't been able to find) I could use that.

Any suggestions??

Yup, that's what came to my mind as well. You can do some google or amazon searches on "body side molding" and come up with more sources than you'll have time to browse.

I found what I was looking for at Cowles and also after I googled body side molding. I had tried googling with several other terms but didn't find the right terms to get me the info.
