Holiday Rambler Navigator 2003 generator slide

I ran my generator out and now it keeps creeping out about 8 inches. I have run it out a couple times but it keeps doing the same thing. Has anyone had this problem and how did you fix it.

Thanks Ron

Thanks Ron

Try running all the way out and keep holding the switch down for about 5 seconds after it hits the stop. Do the same going in. Do this about 3 times. This cured mine.

If no joy, try checking the valves on the side of the pump. Two of them will be for the Gen slide. Open each one slightly then snug up.

It's caused by leaky solenoids which on mine are located under the front step. They recommend replacing both of them, extension and retraction, but they are very expensive. Try running the slide all the way out and keep holding the switch for several seconds longer. Then retract it and again hold the switch for a few seconds. Mine does it on ocassion and this has worked for me so far. I did have to replace the solenoids for the bedroom slide when that trick no longer worked.
