Holiday Rambler Sceptor

Good day!

I’m actually new at this and wondered if someone cannot provide me with helpful information regarding parts I will need for our motorhome.

It’s a Holiday Rambler Scepter 2001….yes I know HR went bankrupt.

Looking for a king pin kit, a pair of front shock absorbers. Also if I can get advice where I can find a set of front head lights…..not covered with polycarbonate.

If all possible parts I can find here in Canada!

Looking to hear from someone!
Merci

Rick

Hi Rick; Have you looked at the Axle Date Plate affixed to the axle. All the info will be on that plate. Also do you have the Recreational Vehicle Data Card sheet. That sheet has a lot of info on the products that were installed on your coach from the manufacture. It will show manufacture and model number. Not sure if you can still do this. Call REV and have your Vin# handy. If REV still does this, they can email you the Data Sheet. Any local heavy duty truck shop in your area should be able to get you the parts needed as some of those parts are on heavy duty trucks used in the industry today.

As for shocks, Bing or google what you need for your model and year, and I am sure the info you are after will pop up. Same as with the headlights. From just reading in this forum, owners who have bought replacement headlights seem to be a hit and miss. Mostly all from China and of not so good quality.

Here is an example on the front axle. I have an 01 Windsor and not sure how close the model is to a Sceptor. I think the Monaco Windsor is a close cousin to the H.R. Imperial. A lot will depend on the weight rating of the axle. My front axle is manufactured by Eaton with a model number of, E-12001. Hope this info gets you going and good luck!

The Monaco Camelot and HR Scepter are sister coaches, with the Beaver Sabrinas and Safari Cheetahs
