Tough week...Sure glad to be home....we drove over 8 hours today, and spent a lot of time talking about MAX, and what a great dog he was!! Our other Yorkie, Charlie, seems a little confused without Max being there. Dropped my MH back at Massey Diesel so they can fix the still leaking hydraulic pump, and look at a brake problem.
Guess tomorrow I'll get the cracked windshield fixed, and get ready to head for Oregon and the Pre-rally and FMCA....Thanks to all for your thoughts and condolences regarding Max.
Of couerse a good thing thing this week, even with all the problems, was spending time with the grandkids....

Bruce & Gloria,
We are new to the Monaco forum and so have just read of your loss. We love our "babies" also. We have Shih Tzus, 4 in all. Our oldest is now 16 and in failing health. Our heart goes out to the two of you. Are dogs become so much a part of our lives and family. We are thinking of you all at this time.
As far as the coach is concerned just remember "this too shall pass." It can all be repaired and fixed in no time at all. Hang in there.

I too am sorry to hear of your loss. We have our 4 dogs that travel with us, and we, too, have just had a not so pleasant travel week... but it is the missing piece of your heart that makes incidental mishaps seem so much more difficult. Keep the happy memories close, and keep on rollin'... find laughter and joy in the life you have shared with Max.
