So we did. He did a great job building the new cabinet.

Looks awesome. With that you have the best of both worlds. Storage yet still have ability to get into a comfortable spot with your distance from the table. Congrats

Looks great. Tell me more about the table, how is attached to the cabinet section. Does it fold down and lock in place or do you store while traveling. Thanks

The table attaches with the same bracket that was on there originally. We can leave it up while traveling but it makes it kinda tight to get past it and the counter top. This isnt the original table, we had this one made and it is longer then the original one. WE will have to try it out. i am thinking we will take it down and store it.

We are with you. We've had several TT's and MH's and never found a comfortable dinette. Our current WBGO was ordered with the slide-out table and 4 chairs. Two of the chairs are folded up and stored under the bed. So far we haven't used them.

We are looking for 2 fold up chairs to go with the nice comfortable ones we have now. We probably dont really need them, I figure if we have company we could use some of those metal folding chairs then they wont stay as long.

The OP did a great job, really nice looking. As to your question I provide a picture of the one I did which slides back into place for travel. Just an option you may consider. The legs lift and the table can be pushed back until it hit a detent to hold it in place.

Real nice job. Ours came with a table and chairs and prefer it also.
Safe travels
