House Batteries not Charging

Just had my house batteries replaced by a local battery shop (not RV Shop) a few days ago and I noticed the batteries were down to 11.7 volts today so I
plugged into shore power and usually the panel will light up and the screen will indicate bulk charging batteries is in progress. The screen didn't change so noticing that the inverter light was not lite I pushed the button and the the led lite for the inverter lite up. I heard the inverter kick in for about 10 seconds and then go silent again but the led remained lite. I pushed the button on the panel for the charger but it wouldn't lite up. I think it should be charging the batteries now but it doesn't seem to be. The charger is blinking a green led so it seems to be getting some power. Is there something that needs to be reset after replacing the batteries? Will the inverter run even if there is no demand? I did turn off the main rotary switches to disconnect the house and chassis batteries during the battery installation. Could that be a problem?

Re-House batteries not charging

Had a thought after I sent the original post. I unplugged the shore power and tried a few 110v outlets and the microwave. All are working so I think my inverter must be operating.

House Batteries not charging

I feel a little foolish but I noticed last night that the GFCI for the outlet the MH was plugged into was tripped. Reset and all is well. Need to put that thing back in storage and quit trying to find things wrong!!

Make sure you get the new batteries fully charged before putting it in storage. Keep an eye on the GFCI. They can trip at any time.
