How Do I Get this Light Cover Off?

Light went out. Been driving me nuts on how to get this apart. Light is above and to the left of the entrance door.
Plz don't mind the dirt. It's getting washed tomorrow. EARLY!!!!!

2011 Holiday Rambler Endeavor 43 DFT

thanks

dave

I think you will find that it snaps on. Take a flat blade screwdriver and gently push in on the two tabs on the base edge. Get one slightly dislodged, then go do the other one. Lens should lift off. OK, the weather seal might give you some grief so you may have to do some tugging.

Yeah I tried that but was afraid of breaking it. Was really hard to push in.

My Tour has the same issue. I have used a screwdriver and pushed in and even twisted the screwdriver. Afraid I will break it. I was told by a dealer be very careful they break them often.

The following is from previous questions about this light.

Thought I would share how to change the porch light bulb on the 2011 Monaco Knight. There is an, upper and lower assembly you push in the white tabs on the end of the upper assembly and flip up the upper Assembly which reveals 4 Phillips head screws which when removed allow the amber lower assembly to come off exposing the bulb. Thanks everyone for your input.

I had the same problem on my 2011 Knight. I did have to use a knife to cut the silicon seal on the top of the light before the top portion could be removed.

Sure seems like a complicated system for a porch light.
