How do seats turnaround????

I just bought a used 2008 HR Navigator Bismark.

I have owned and lived in many coaches for many years. And I consider myself a fairly astute individual. But for the life of me I cannot figure out how to swivel the front chairs to turn into the living room. I have tried them forward, back, armrests up/down, turned in both directions, etc.

Please enlighten me!!!!please!!!

Thanks in advance

Pull the handle front side of seat, should swing both ways.

You cant rotate either, or the drivers seat due to interferance with the steering wheel .

Hummmm... I'm able to rotate both of my front seats to face rearward simply by leaning the seat back forward, pulling the release handle to allow rotation and turning the seat while moving the seat forward/rearward control either one way or another until the seat clears steering wheel (insuring it is tilted forward), console or any other obstruction.

This is how mine work.

http://www.irv2.com/forums/attachmen...1&d=1468089685

Watch the seat wiring it is not configured to keep rotating the seat in the same direction. If you do so you will rip the seat wiring apart ....ask my wife

Too funny. She made me fix it before we broke camp

I was stunned at how much larger the coach seemed to look with the seats turned around.

This is the lever that allows my seat to rotate. On the drivers side I have to tilt the steering wheel all the way forward, Bring the seat back forward and slide the seat base away from the steering wheel as I rotate the seat to clear the steering wheel.

You have to be careful which way you turn them because there is limited wiring length underneath. And yes, I have to tilt my steering wheeel.

I really do appreciate all the responses. And again...I have owned and full timed in many coaches over the last 25 years. I realize that by design the seats are supposed to rotate when you pull the rotate/swivel handle. And i realize there are sometimes issues clearing the steering wheel which requires the column/wheel to be moved. I am also aware of the wiring harness issues and binding. But I am telling you. I cannot get these to rotate. Either of them. They hit the sidewall of the coach no matter what you do.

If someone has a 2008 Navigator please chime in. By the way...RobRoy...I see you have an 04 Navigator. I had one of those too and never had an issue with the seats. That's why I am asking for coach specific info.

Thanks again.

They always rotate 'in'. So that would mean your backrest hitting the sidewall.

I assume your moving the seats all the way forward before starting?

Many seats need to be moved forward or back on the tracks and/or seatback tilted fore/aft before they will clear the steering wheel or side walls.
