We just bought a 2008 Admiral 30SFS today and will pick it up after Thanksgiving. It has the bad Ultraleather seats so we will be getting that fixed fairly soon. Original owner added a couple of nice features like the central vac and side view cameras. I think we will enjoy our first venture in RVing.

Thumbs up 2002 Hoilday Rambler Endeavor 40pwd

Just Bought this unit 6 months ago and love it. I've been putting the unit through a series of power test and I'm very impressed with the Cummins ISC 8.3 330hp.

What is under the carpet when you rip it up?

[QUOTE=Gigtime;4988256] I've removed the mauve carpet and will put vinyl plank flooring in. Just curious since I'm thinking about pulling up the carpeting in my 2000 Holiday Rambler Vacationer, what exactly is under the carpet? what type of florring/wod, ect is under it? Thanks

You should have a wood subfloor. “DO NOT put down vinyl flooring” you will be sorry!!! I’m in the process of replacing my carpet flooring in my 2006 Neptune with engineered hardwood flooring. A must see before you start go to this web site https://groups.io/g/ErnieEkbergFlooring.

What about sealing and painting my own design on the sub floor? Like black and white 12" squares to LOOK like vinyl tiles.

My sub flooring is chip board. You can use vinyl flooring but it will lift due to excessive heat and cooling. You can put down anything you want but it may or may not last.

I would find out what type of system you have and down load the manual for it and start trouble shooting the problem. It could be be a number of things from electrical to a bad pump and everything in between. Have you checked your fuses?

I have put laminate in my last coach over 10 years ago and my present coach. It stands up really good. It had o.s.b. under the carpet and i did not have do anything but put the laminate over top. The only thing I see wrong about putting vinyl plank down would be if the under surface is rough it may telegraph though.
