How to purge air from Hydralic system

I recently had a hydraulic piston replaced on my bedroom slide. After refilling the hydraulic fluid it seems I have air in the lines. Anyone know how tom purge the air from the hydraulic system. I have an 06 Beaver with HWH slides and Power Gear Hydraulic Power Unit.

The reason I suspect air in the lines is the 1st 2 slides move perfectly the 3rd slows way down when extending and the 4th will not move at all. Doesn't mater what order the slides are deployed.

Thanks for your input all.

Steve

The slide hyd cylinders should self bleed. You just run them all the way out/ in a few times, and any trapped air should make it's way back to the reservoir.

Ben said exactly what HWH states on their FAQ page. Just remember to keep the storage tank topped-off while running the slides and jacks from one extreme to the other. Always refill the tank when everything is stored, as ready to travel, before extending the cylinders again.

Thanks for the comments. As for the DC it seems just fine I am plugged into shore power so it should be good. The pump is running even when the slide is not moving. I'm going to go check it out again tomorrow and see is I cant get the system to self bleed as others have mentioned.

Thanks again. I will let you know the outcome.
