HWH Levelling
So where is the adjustment point on my 2005 Sig.
When it levels it has a slight lean to the drivers side.
So due to small leaks on that side that countless techs have failed to locate it leans further before re Levelling.
I want to adjust this to favor the pax side slightly.
I've searched the bilges.
I've found a Perspex lidded steel box (shoe box size) that may be it but can't figure out how to prize the lid off. And can't see enough inside it to definitely identify its purpose. I'm thinking that's it - it's amidships
Can anyone assist - am I getting close?

Hey Steve I like a slight port list it keeps the water and condensation from th AC unit from pooling. The level adjustment is in that same compartment as the glass covered shoe box but not in the shoe box. It is further towards the middle of the Sig under the roof carpet.
When you level do all the yellow arrows on the HWH control box go out?

Hi Mike,
Yes the Hwh is working as designed but the list to port is causing the windscreen to distort on the top Paz side. I can see the white paint after a few hours and I just can't have that.
If the sensitivity was better I could cope but it tends to list a fair way to port before readjusting.
I use the toilet door as my level!!!
So the shoe box I found is in the middle storage bay amidships above a carpeted hatch cover.
I've read the book once re adjusting and would need to refresh but the book doesn't tell me exactly where to look.
So you are saying it's not in the shoe box with the Perspex cover? - looks like a pretty tight seal also.
If it is in this box do you know how to remove the dust cover?

Check out the adjustment procedure for the series 2000 in the troubleshooting manual on the hwh website. I think Mike may have a slightly older model but not sure about Sigs. Essentially there is a big nut (7/8" if I remember correctly) to adjust side to side located on the box on the rear of the box with the clear cover. There is a concentric screw for front to back. You will need to go between ride height and auto level to test adjustment. It is very sensitive with a "dead zone" and some hysteresis. I used a level in the compartment floor as my reference. Good luck.

Sorry Steve I got my systems mixed up. The sensing unit and adjustment on ours is in the shoe box

Let me just share a quick thought. I can't count the times I went into the basement to tweak ours. The mechanism is basically a pair of mercury type (probably not mercury?) level sensing devices mounted on a little circuit board maybe 2" x 3". The board is mounted to a floating disk that is mounted on one end of the shoe box. You can see part of it with a flashlight, if you can get your head in the right place. When you tweak the inner and outer adjustment points you either tip the board up and down endwise, slightly, or you rotate the board slightly in the lateral axis. The adjustment is quite fine, and there is a wee bit of deadband in it.
Follow the instructions Mike posted. I found that after ANY adjustment, I needed to just let the coach go through a couple of re-levels to see how it really worked out. I'll bet it took a dozen tries before I was finally satisfied. But it works, and you can do it. Just don't get frustrated, and feel free to be elated if you get it on the first try.
Best of luck to you. Be patient, you'll get it, and your bathroom door will be happy.

You'll do fine. When I said the little board was mounted on one end of the shoebox, I meant it was mounted on the inside of one end of the shoe box. Mike's description was right on. All you can access are the concentric adjustments. Be patient. Let it re-level on its own, a time or two before you re-tweak it. As you say, "Give it a go!"
Oh, and no, you don't take the lid off. Did that once. It's a bear! Didn't buy me anything!!

So it's done.
After 4 hours all is well. Still level.
So we'll see in the morning if I've solved the problem.
Took about an hour all up. About 15-18 goes at getting it right.

I have had a few issues with the HWH leveling system and called the manufacturer. In every case they responded and guided me thru the solution. They followed up with a no charge invoice that was a mutual record of the incident. Please give them a call. I'm sure they can help you. My experience with them has been nothing short of first class.
Regards
Dave

Follow up
After a week at level and unlevel sites I'm very impressed that my adjustments have solved my problems.

I've got the same lean but to the right and front low on an '05 Dynasty Diamond. Anybody know where the adjustment would be located on the Dynasty?
Thanks, Byron

My bet is 2nd storage compartment.
In the centre there should be a panel as you lay looking up.
You should find a shoe box under a carpeted panel with Perspex lid
Don't open the lid.
You will need to follow the instructions carefully.
You can get them off the HWH site or should be with the coach manuals.
Tip is to follow the second more precise method as the first really caters for the initial set up.
The adjustment bolt (which adjusts lean) will be on the end of the show box on the outside.
Don't attempt any changes till you really understand the instructions.
But once it's in your head it's just a matter of an hour or so
