We probably have a different HWH control panels, but I think all their buttons work on the same principle. I.e., they all are switched to ground.
I was stuck with my jacks down in a State Park when I discovered this trick:
* Obtain access to the back of your HWH control panel if you can.
* Take a voltage probe and tap the back of that electronic component (behind the bad HWH button) with your probe. See picture. You can tape either side to get it to work.
==> If this works you can probably take your board to a local electronic repair shop and have that part replaced. Or you can send your control board to HWH for repair. It will take about 10-15 days for TAT. Be sure to get an RMA number from HWH first. They are very good about repairing your or replacing your control board. I think mine was a $325 bill, but I can't remember.
Note: I did not think of getting this board repaired locally, because I thought the "button contacts" were my problem. Still, I should have confirmed this at an electronics shop for $40... or maybe some of you know it that's a diode or capacitor my voltage probe is touching in the picture? ... Whatever it is, my jack operated when I touched either side of that "electronic part" so that implied a bad button. (See picture #2)
Note: You might also try starting your engine (with jacks down); and with your foot on the brake... put the transmission in drive. This may trigger an "emergency override" and that may or may not raise all your HWH jacks? (TBD)
