Spent half the day checking with Hyd and Welding shops and had very little success up to that point, Sun Source was my last stop, Sales person was very helpful and when I mention Quality Control Inc he said they were a distributor for them, he called but person he needed was gone to lunch. He took all my info and said he would call me back he also gave me number to QCI (in IL). I decided to call them when I got home. In short I was able to order direct from the factory (QCI), thanks so much to the info Paul posted (they required all those break down letters and numbers) the new pump front bracket was $120, new seal kit $29.93 and I'll go Paul's route and put it together myself, restocking fee for belt I didn't need is about $35. Sun Source did call me back, they could have gotten the same part and seals for me but cost would have been $254.93, glad I had already ordered. Will let you know how the final product works out. PS...Sun Source said there's still a lot of those old pumps around and they break enough mounting brackets where there's still a big enough demand to keep making the parts.

This turned out to be not quite as costly as I had expected. Getting the pulley off pump turned out to be biggest problem, ended up taking it to a machine shop which charged $22. Quality Control Inc, in IL still makes replace parts, cost of new bracket, seal kit and shipping was $164.22. I have all the tools and done my own labor, not that big of a job. didn't tear down complete pump and rebuild it since there was no issue with it. only replaced seals on the bracket side. Reinstalled it and it works fine.

That's great. Trying to weld that oily cast aluminum would be a disaster.
