Hydra lift Trike lift.
Has anyone used a Hydra Lift motorcycle lift on their Monaco. I am looking into one for my 2014 Harley Tri Glide. If it works I can pull my toad and have my toy with me too. The only other option would be to flat tow a pickup with the Harley in the back or a 24' trailer. Really don't want to pull a trailer. We are about to go full time and I really do not want all the hassles associated with one,

Lots of Hydra-Lifts in use. Haven't seen a trike on one but several Ultra Classics and Goldwings. Best with a tag axle as you'll be adding a lot of weight to the rear axle. Adding 1,200 lbs or so that far behind the axle will pull 200 or 300 of the front so you're really adding 1,400 or 1,500 to the rear. I think Cruiser Lift website had a formula to help determine the weights.
Sure is nice to take the toys and the car without the hassle of a trailer.
Good luck,

Thanks for the reply. Did that coach have a tag axle?

My guess the Anthem did have a tag.
I don't think you have a tag which means your tongue weight capacity will be limited.
You do have 10K pull capacity though so I'm sure there's a solution out there.

Trike or no trike, the weight isn't much difference. The problem is with the amount that hangs out the back. I did this and thought it would work for my Goldwing 1800 at 1000lb. I layed everything on the ground and did all the welding. Got everything together and drove the bike onto the lift. I was amazed of how far back it went. The more it hangs out the more leverage you have on the lift and the attachment point. My advice it to not do it. Another thing. I did lift it up and found out that well driving you have less weight on the front. I didn't get it much over 45mph, but I could feel the difference.

I tried on a 40' Country Coach with no tag. After using the formula on the web to figure transferred weight I realized it was not doable. Also a trike transfers even more weight than a two wheeler due to the center of gravity of the lifted weight being farther back. I traded my coach and still have not gotten my lift yet. Do your homework before you spend the money.

Yep, I have a hydra lift on my Scepter.
I agree with the others. You really need a tag axle coach to hang a heavy scoot off the back.

You can try TandemTow.
They have a tow dolly that fits a trike and a car.
This might be an alternative.

My dad used one of these to haul his golf cart and still take his car. It worked very well for him. Only downside was it takes a while to strap everything down. Lots of crawling around on the ground to get everything fastened. Especially if you're in your 70s.
