I don't like my mirrors

I have driven every kind of truck made most of my life with real mirrors, you know full mirrors you can see the whole side of your vehicle including your rear wheels.
I hate these funky concave mirrors on the bottom half.
Is their any kind of replacement mirror that doesn't have that concave on it.

Welcome to the forum.

LOL,
" Caution, Objects may appear further away than they really are" At a football fields length away, it might help if we use binoculars, huh?

Good luck

Velvac is a common brand of mirror on Monaco and other motor homes.

VelVac Mirrors

The guts are relatively easy to swap out.

I went the other way - from a single flat mirror to a two-segment flat and convex. I like to see my front wheels when maneuvering/parking.

Completely agree with these mirrors are horrible!!
I have a CDL and have driven many trucks, I can see fine in a tractor trailer, cant see squat in these.
I sent Velvac customer support an email 2 years ago, I guess they are really busy since I still haven't heard from them.

I removed my 2002 style Velvac mirrors and installed two Ramco Triple Glass remote control embedded LED Turn Signal with In-View camera mirrors a few years ago. Love them!

Got them from a surplus RV dealer off of eBay for $400 each with free shipping. They were the mirror head and arms only so I had to buy new bases from Ramco.

Here is a write up that I did back then.

I agree as well. If I could find a bracket to mount a regular truck mirror on the SIDE of my coach that is what I would do. I find the double glass and the mirror sticking out front is awkward at best. When it is raining and the windshield gets dirty it is hard to see the mirror because the wipers don't wipe around the corner.
