AFE filters and other similar units should never be used on a HD diesel engine. Not recommended by engine mfrs. There used to be an engineer that worked for Detroit and then Cat.
He was semi active on IRV2 and other forums. He would go nuts when anyone mentioned those filters. They will kill your engine. Alas He died a few years ago.

No plans for AFE here. I already have enought to worry about. Not gonna mess with something that seems to be working fine.

On my 08 Endeavor I ordered 7 feet. Six feet would have been plenty.

Only two payments left on mine.

Had to put some bandaids on my wounds. The stuff came at amazing speed though.

No kidding. It was almost in my garage by the time I hit confirm.

I'm still working with Veurinks to try and return a hose that didn't work and cost $33 per/ft.
(I've been very happy with Veurinks in the past and by no means am I throwing them under the bus)

Veruinks is a great company. But they cut the stuff to order so returning may be expensive. But not a total loss.

Just for grins. Post it on Facebook Marketplace. You will be amazed and what people buy and sell.

Put my old working Penguin II AC unit on the market place along with two brand new circuit boards that I had to change to make the AC's backwards compatible. Sold all three to the same person that arrived at almost 9pm. Long story but he paid what I was asking and popped the 160 AC onto his shoulder and carried it to his trailer like it was a sack of potatoes.

I called him Sir. He peeled off the cash and rolled out like he was on fire. He had a stack of AC's units in the back and didn't even want to inspect it. He was buying them for parts. This guy had driven for hours and hours picking up AC's an all other RV parts he could find.

So you never know what will sell. Sold all my old boat seats in fair condition in one day too. Heck, it is pocket change but will buy lunch.

And what I got yesterday was enough to justify to the boss that we should change the thermostat out to the new Wi-Fi unit.
