I doubt the plastic inserts can be removed thru the cabinet door opening, at least that is the impression I get from looking at ours.

I still cannot see any pictures of the plastic boxes or what specific area is damaged.

This kind of thing is in my wheel house but I need more pictures. Having spent around 100 hours with my arms and elbows buried in my front cabinets I know my way around a bit.
