I should have checked my work

In my other topic about wax valve and thermostat etc I was thinking this morning about the engine temperature problem and when the temperature got too high I would pull over let it cool down temperature dropped fairly fast. The fan was roaring. Oh yeah I was pulling grade Fountain Hills going to Show Low AZ. Air temperature 103. So I put my mat under the radiator and use my pin light look between cac and radiator and what did I see. Right in the middle 1/4 up a pile of stuff now what. I take the hook I use to pull down my window awning and pull out stuff out and take and wash the rest of what's left out. see how temperature does on the way home. By the way is there suppose to be something like foam or rubber around the area between cac and radiator.

We need to know what coach you have.

Monaco built a number of different coaches with different cooling package arrangements.

There should not be anything between the CAC and radiator. Anything in there would block air flow. If it looks clean now I would guess you will see a big difference. Let us know.

Used to see a lot of dust seed heads etc between the rad, condenser, oil cooler etc on farm tractors. Wash it out and many problems go away. Good luck I hope it works.
